From Inverness and the North

follow the A82 from Spean Bridge towards Fort William, take the 2nd right turn after the Torlundy sign, by the Factor's Inn into Happy Valley. Follow for 100 yards, turn right by the Factor's Cottage, follow the lane down the hill, left round the corner, bear left at the road fork, Torlundy House is the 4th house on the left.

From Fort William

follow the A82 towards Inverness, past the Inverlochy Castle Hotel entrance. After 300 metres turn left opposite the bus stop by the Factor's Inn into Happy Valley. Follow for 100 yards, turn right by the Factor's Cottage, follow the lane down hill, left round corner, bear left at the road fork, Torlundy House is the 4th house on the left.

Notes for guests without their own transport

Torlundy House is situated in Happy Valley, Torlundy, some 3 miles north of Fort William town centre and all facilities such as pubs, restaurants and shops. Buses run up to 8 times a day from the town on weekdays, with a reduced service on Saturday and Sunday. The last bus is late afternoon.

After bus times you will need to either walk or use taxis to reach the town and restaurants in the evening and return to Torlundy House. A taxi fare is about £7 each way.

This distance is no problem for guests used to and keen on walking, however, it can be a problem for others, especially as some of the walk is along a busy main road with no footpath. We just want you to be aware of the distances involved.
